My favourite holiday

　　My favourite holiday is on the 1^st of June. It is a good holiday for children. We can have parties and get a lot of presents like Christmas. And some children can go to his or her favourite place. Can you guess? Yes, it’s Children’s Day. But do you know Children’s Day’s source? A lot of children in the war died. When I heard this, I was very sad. But last children’s Day. I was very happy.

　　Last Children’s Day. I must went to school. I had a new school bag and new shoes and clothes. They were very beautiful. At school, we had a party we played in the playground and watched some performs. After school, I went home. Mum gave me a present. I was very happy. I opened it. It’s a beautiful brush barrel. It’s made of bamboo.

　　Children’s Day is happy for everybody in the world. But we must remember the died children in war around the world. They were pitiable.

　　Children’s Day is their holiday too.
